Anastasiia Shabalina, a senior researcher of the Laboratory, was granted a Fellowship from the Matsumae International Foundation (Japan) for the research work performance in universities of Japan. In 2021 year she will spend 6 months working on the project entitled "Development of New Biosensors for Early-Stage Diagnostics of Lung Cancer" at the Tokai University.

Laboratory researcher Elena Fakhrutdinova presented the results of research on the creation of photocatalysts based on bismuth silicates for ecology and green energy within the framework of the Russian Science Foundation project № 19-73-30026 at a scientific conference in Krasnoyarsk.

The laboratory team took part in the 1st All-Russian scientific conference with international participation «YENISEY PHOTONIC– 2020» , Krasnoyarsk, September 14-19, 2020. There were 1 invited and 5 oral presentations. Young scientists of the laboratory - 4th year student Zhanna Fedorovich and PhD student Dmitry Ezhov received diplomas for the best reports.

From 7 to 11 September 2020, as part of the implementation of the RSF № 19-73-30026 project to support world-class laboratories of the President's program of research projects, Ph.D., senior researcher Anastasia Shabalina took part in the XI international scientific conference «Modern methods in theoretical and experimental electrochemistry» in Plyos (Ivanovo Region), also made joint experimental research with Ph.D., senior researcher. Kuzmin S.M. at the G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ivanovo) semiconductor properties of photocatalytic materials based on bismuth silicates in a solid-state electrochemical cell.

Three members of the laboratory - YM Andreev, KA Koch and VA Svetlichny - are the main performers of the project that has received support of RSF "Powerful wide-range THz sources and their use in spectroscopy". The Project is performed at the Institute of High Current Electronics SB RAS, V.F. Losev is a project leader.

SPTI TSU and Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have signed an agreement on scientific cooperation in 2015-2019. In 2015 within the scientific cooperation the staff of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Technologies will carry out a joint research with Chinese colleagues in the field of nonlinear optical and physical properties of nonlinear crystals of THz and IR region of the spectrum.
